Autumn spirit at The Chelsea Nursery

It has been another wonderful and busy week at The Chelsea Nursery, with a focus on Autumn and the harvest season.

We started the week by setting up a tuff tray filled with soil, carrots, potatoes, and beans for the children to plant. This activity deepened their understanding of the world around us and where our food comes from, while also sparking their curiosity about nature.

To contribute to our Autumn display board, the children got creative by making their very own corn-on-the-cob artwork using real corn kernels. They loved feeling the textures and seeing how corn grows, bringing the spirit of the harvest indoors.

The rainy weather didn’t stop us from keeping active! Miss Such led a wonderful yoga session, where the children worked on their flexibility and balance. It was a calming and fun way to embrace a wet and blustery day.
