Our Home from Home

As your little one may well spend more time during the day at nursery than at home, it is vital that it feels like a home-from-home.

The nursery rooms are all warm and welcoming, in calming colours, filled with soft furnishings, cosy corners, rugs and cushions. Pictures of the children adorn the walls to make sure they see familiar faces every day.

The children’s key workers will know their needs really well and adapt as they change, grow and develop.

Children thrive on routine, and we make sure that they have access to the outdoors, to engaging play-based learning activities as well as free choice.

When it comes to sleeping time, we make sure that every child has their own space and is all cosy and comfortable before dropping off to sleep for a restorative nap.

Keeping You Informed

Communication is key.  We use a communication tool called Blossom to share photographs, observations and messages with you throughout the day to make sure you know which activities your child has been doing, what they have had to eat and how much sleep they have had.

Whilst we very much have an open-door policy, we also hold Parent-Teacher meetings throughout the year.  This provides a great opportunity for you to book a slot to speak with your child’s key worker and ask any questions about the teaching, learning and development progress.
